Travel Arrangements With an excellent internal air, rail and road network, getting to Aalborg has never been easier.

Most international flights to and from Denmark arrive and depart from Copenhagen Airport. However, flight times from Copenhagen to Aalborg are short - less than an hour. There are numerous daily flights and Aalborg Airport is only 5 km from the city centre.
In addition to the frequent daily connections to and from Copenhagen, Aalborg Airport has scheduled airline connections with Oslo in Norway, Helsinki in Finland, London in England, Malaga in Spain and the Faroe Islands in summer.

By TaxiThere is an excellent taxi service direct from the airport to the city. You'll find official airport taxis at the taxi rank outside the terminal building (follow the signs within the airport). It costs approximately 225 DKK (30 Euro) to get a taxi from the airport to the city centre and the journey takes 10 minutes depending on traffic flow and time of day.
By Train or Bus
In center of city close to conference venue you find Aalborg main station. From here there is direct routes to many cities across the country. For more information on the rail network within the DK click here or visit www.dsb.dk
DSB (Danish State Railways) and Arriva covers the country with a dense network of train services. Hourly services on modern InterCity trains and InterCityLyn (high-speed trains) connect Aalborg with the main towns of Jutland, Funen and Sealand and with Copenhagen. Regional trains run to Hirtshals and Frederikshavn every hour.
Nordjyllands Trafikselskab operates locally in the region and runs an extensive network of local buses in Aalborg. There are also long distance bus routes that link Aalborg with Copenhagen, Odense, Esbjerg and other major cities in Denmark as well as Europe
